What is Party Pack?

Party Pack is a set of four party games for 3 to 8 players, made for living rooms. One screen, such as a TV, laptop or Xbox browser, shows the game. Everyone else joins on their own phone by scanning a QR code or typing a four-letter room code. There's no app to install and no account to create.

The four games

Fib Finder: everyone writes a fake answer to a strange fact. Then you vote on which answer is the real one. You score for finding the truth and for fooling your friends with your fib.

Doodle Guess: each player draws a secret prompt on their phone. Everyone else invents a title for the drawing, then guesses which title is the real one.

Head-to-Head Funnies: two players answer the same prompt, and the rest of the room votes for the funnier answer.

Family Trivia: quick multiple-choice questions answered on your phone, with points for each right answer.

How to play

Open the game on the shared screen and pick a game. The screen shows a room code and a QR code. Players join on their phones and enter a name, and when everyone's in, the host starts the game. Prompts, answers and votes happen on the phones, while the shared screen shows results and scores between rounds.

The options let you choose a pace (relaxed, normal, quick, or no timer), the number of rounds, and a kid-friendly mode that filters rude words out of typed answers.

Strategy tips

The genre it's inspired by

Party Pack's games come from old parlour traditions. The bluffing game where players invent fake definitions has been played with pencil and paper for generations, and drawing-and-guessing games became classic family board games in the 1980s. In the 2010s, video game party collections made the format popular again by turning everyone's phone into a controller. Party Pack is our own collection with original prompts and questions. It isn't affiliated with any party game publisher.

Developer's notes

Party Pack started as a way to play together at family gatherings on a single TV. Typed answers are short and stay in the room, and kid-friendly mode filters rude words. We keep the games simple so anyone can pick up a phone and join in seconds.
